Girl Scout World Thinking Day Russia SWAPS

First Post... Sorry if it's confusing.

For Girl Scouts World Thinking Day our troop chose Russia. Trying to figure out a SWAP for 6th graders to make for 125 girls in less than an hour (plus lots of other things going on too) was difficult - so I chose Salt Dough Ornaments.

We did the basic recipe:
2C Flour
2C Salt
1/2 C Warm Water

We then cut them (using shot glasses - only thing I had that was the correct size) and then used Quicky Dry Ink to stamp a Babushka onto each circle. Then we cooked for 5 hours at 200 degrees in the oven. Then we trimmed the sides and colored with sharpies.

That's it. Pretty easy and oh so cheap! I'm all about the cheap SWAP! We're saving for New York - so no time to waste it!
